Since the beginning of its scientific activity, begun in 1997, Fondazione Donizetti has devoted itself to the publication of studies, with a musicological nature and publicity purpose, dedicated to Gaetano Donizetti, Giovanni Simone Mayr and the musical production of their epoch. The editorial publication of the research institute includes five series:

EPISTOLARIES scientifically accurate editions of the letters of those composers which are at the heart of the foundation’s research projects
BOOKLETS OF FONDAZIONE DONIZETTI monographies dedicated to the representations during the Bergamo Musica Festival “Gaetano Donizetti”.
